With 4 kids, we are constantly on the lookout for family friendly activities that everyone would enjoy. As a little girl, I remember the water park at Cherry Hill and having several family reunions there. Although I hadn't been there in years, I was excited to take my own little family there this last weekend.
If you are local to the Salt Lake area, passing through or planning a vacation, Cherry Hill should definitely be on your list. The park boasts 180 campsites with shade from over 700 trees. They accommodate RV's, tents and groups small and large.
As locals to this area, we wanted to visit Cherry Hill for the day, and this is definitely doable as well. The park gives you all sorts of versatility such as a water park, miniature golf, climbing wall, a jungle maze, shopping, food, concerts and more!
When we first arrived, we hit the water park. I was excited to see the new Little Dipper Slides, which are perfect for kids of all ages. Adults are also welcome to ride alone or with little ones on their lap. With 4 slides across, there was never much of a line and my kids really liked this slide!

My 14 month old really liked the Pirates Cove Activity Pool. It was shallow enough for him to walk around at only 18" deep and it has a really fun themed pirate ship and slide.
Other water activities at the park include 2 pools, several water slides and a lazy river. The lazy river was another hit for the whole family and we honestly spent a couple hours floating around it. The water was the perfect temperature, there were free tubes to float on and the bottom of the river was padded. The Canyon River Run was also so fun and we enjoyed it many times!
After we were done swimming, we decided to see what else Cherry Hill has to offer. We enjoyed miniature golfing on an awesome 18 hole course. I haven't been mini golfing in forever, and this course didn't disappoint. I would even come here just for date night with my hubby. The little kids loved the hamster haven playground which features a fun ball pit, as well as the junior jungle boats. My son also spent 20 minutes working our way through the jungle maze. It had fun jungle sounds, water spouting out from animals during the maze, and fun photo opps.
